A DECOLONIAL MORIN

Abstract

This article deals with an approximation of the “dialogical” ideas in Morin with the term “de-colonial”
inserted, this one, in the Morinian context of a method and an imaginary. These polarities – not necessarily binary – form the “complex” tissue of a Morin that does not admit a reductive thought (and by reductive Morin considers it mutilated). We point out, at the outset, our proposal to deal with a “decoloniality” from a dialectical perspective (but not from a Hegelian heritage), and so, as Morin himself says, “dialogical”, due to the fact that it brings together, in the same term, a complementary antagonism. We conclude with the idea that, considering the method and the imaginary in Morin, the term “de-colonial” is justifi ed by its exact opposite, colonialism, beyond or below its hard concept.
