Under the light of historical and dialectical materialism, this text, resulting from bibliographic and documental research, aims to discuss an educational off er in the state of Paraná during the period of sanitary crisis resulting from the Covid-19 Pandemic, in order to elucidate the referrals captained by the state government, and practice in practice in public schools, through remote teaching. Therefore, the text makes considerations about the health crisis caused by the Pandemic, which found fertile soil in the economic crisis experienced in the country and put government decisions in check, revealing that, in government decisions, the protection of capital proved to be more important than the protection of human life; presents data on the inequality that sustains the capitalist logic, and also exposes the main political-educational directions for the maintenance of the educational offer in Paraná’s public schools, through deliberations approved by the State Council of Education and guidelines issued by the Department of Education. The analysis points out that remote learning was considered a panacea to ensure educational provision, without the right to socially referenced education having been effectively guaranteed, since, in political-educational referrals, the problems and difficulties experienced by students and education professionals have been minimized or even disregarded.
