Abstract

This article is the result of a research on the technical-administrative server in racial quota education at UFSC. The research aims to understand how the guidelines of the Institutional Policy of Access, Inclusion and Permanence of Technical-Administrative Servants in Education (STAE) Racial Quotaholders at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) are materialized, from the point of view of managers. To support this research, a bibliographic review of the Institutional Policy and the Public Policy for Access, Inclusion and Permanence of Racial Quota Servers in the Public Service are presented. The research is characterized by being qualitative, with application of semi-structured interviews with managers occupying strategic positions in the Institution. The results show that, at the same time that the University is inclusive according to the current legislation for the admission of racial quota servers, it denies the inclusion for lack of an Institutional Policy for the Inclusion and Permanence of racial quota servers in the Institution.
