Abstract

The text presents the results of a study on the pedagogical alternation in the context of the Degree in Rural Education at UFPA based on the experience of the Cametá Campus, in the northeast of Pará. Privileging Pedagogy of Alternation as a teacher training strategy, we sought to understand the extent to which the dynamics of Time Community (TC) experienced by students at the Igarapé-Miri Pole have been assumed as a formative space-time in the construction of knowledge. The analysis identified, on the one hand, the political-pedagogical potential of these dynamics in the training of teachers for rural schools, on the other hand, the contradictions and limits that emerge from their context, especially those concerning the understanding of students about the social territories adopted as educational environments and the consequent engagement in the actions that these spaces demand.
