Education and resistance in the pandemic context

Abstract

This work discusses the resistance of teachers from the private education network of a college in the municipality of Horizonte, State of Ceará, in the face of the challenges of remote teaching imposed by the pandemic. A reflexive effort was made to think about the issue of private in the remote context and the consequences for teaching professionals with regard to their professional performance. For this, it was necessary to resolve the context of the pandemic that began to ravage the country from March 2020 together in the lives of professionals, but specifically, for the professionals who are part of the education network of this Faculty. That said, the present work is configured from a case study, of a qualitative nature, using this through the WhatsApp social network. It is stated, from a result obtained from the analysis, that not even the professionals of adrift education and private adrift education are reserved at all costs to the impositions of the private educational market. In addition, together, they can engender, as the case in question shows, and obtain the result they wanted in the face of the financial aspirations of the private market in the educational field.
