Certainly it is impossible to transcribe literally how Milton Santos would analyze this pandemic scenario that we are living. First because he left our conviviality in 2001. Second, we would not be able to guess or predict their reaction both as an intellectual and a human being in the face of this moral weakness of politicians in once again distancing themselves from the people. However, for those who know the work of Milton Santos and his critical attitude in the face of crises with this global dimension, it is possible to signal that he would say that we still live in a distorted country full of divided spaces. I would be outraged by the continuity of an administrative model that replicates in our territory actions that take place from our social, environmental and economic characteristics, especially in this pandemic. This essay selected part of Milton Santos' thinking with the objective of producing a reflection that contributes to decoding the current dynamics imposed on the territory by Covid-19, and showing the need to think about a political-administrative reorganization of Brazil.
