MINP and the fight against pandemics

Abstract

It stands out how the MINP – Interactive Manual for Combating Pandemics – www.manualminp.com – is used as a practical communication product in the application of combating diseases, notably COVID-19. The aim is to present tools that help in reflection, debate and action to combat the pandemic, highlighting the importance of applying social technologies and explaining in a didactic way issues of preventing and combating the Coronavirus. Methodologically, a practical study is carried out, based on action research and participant research, in the construction of an empirical product that can be shared socially and reach, directly and indirectly, the most diverse sectors of society, fulfilling two basic functions of university, which is to offer responses to the environment in which it operates and provoke actions.
