REINVENTIONS IN PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN THE DAYS OF COVID-19: experience report

Abstract

The pandemic of the new Coronavirus has launched several challenges to the world, including that of untimely restructuring the ways of life and work. This impact in the professional sphere is the context that gives rise to the experience reported in this article, which describes the co-creation work between a librarian and an archivist in the reinvention of their actions during the pandemic, with a view to post this context. It aims to report the experience of two professionals, librarian and archivist, in the virtual environment through descriptive and qualitative methodology. In this way, projects carried out from online events are presented, specifically the forums: Digitalization, General Data Protection Law and; Paperless. Furthermore, an attempt was made to expand action strategies in the area, based on protagonism, through social media. It concludes that the opportunities, from ideas transformed into actions and execution of projects, with a view to bringing to the areas more disruptive courses, focused on the corporate environment and obtaining the professional prominence of the librarian and archivist.
