Abstract

The following article seeks to analyze public budget trends in the Bolsonaro Government (2019 and 2022),
focusing on Social Security and Public Security policies, and Parliamentary Amendments, called the “secret budget”. The objective is to draw an overview of public spending during the neo-facist and ultra-neoliberal government, highlighting its impacts on these social policies in times of capital crisis and financialization of the public fund, of budget under- and definancing in the field of social rights and, also, in a context of health crisis. Our analysis is based on the collection of budget data through the Siga Brasil platform, available online. The analyzes aim to establish the relationship between the Bolsonaro
government's economic and social policy and the permanent fiscal adjustment in the Brazilian context.
