CARNE ARTIFICIAL COMO ALTERNATIVA ALIMENTAR: um debate bioético necessário
Resumo
Essa pesquisa tem o objetivo de colaborar com o debate ético e bioético a respeito da viabilidade da carne artificial avaliando seus benefícios, limitações e vulnerabilidades. Para tanto, realizou-se uma revisão integrativa de textos científicos e uma análise de notícias e vídeos dos buscadores Google® notícias, Google® vídeos e Youtube®. Ambos foram categorizados pela análise de conteúdo propostas por Bardin. Nos textos científicos analisados os benefícios ao ambiente superaram os de bem-estar-animal, saúde e sociedade, enquanto as limitações sociais foram mais proeminentes do que as técnicas e éticas. No contexto popular, em ambos os veículos, os benefícios foram mais frequentes do que as limitações. Em decorrência de fundamentos éticos e ecológicos inerentes a carne artificial, acredita-se que os benefícios se pronunciam às limitações, fato que pode ser potencial gerador de vulnerabilidade caso a questão não seja tratada com cautela, principalmente na perspectiva da bioética.
