Abstract

This article, through an interdisciplinary approach, aims to debate human rights and the fight against racial, gender and class inequalities in times of barbarism, highlighting the intrinsic relationship between violation of human rights, inequalities, barbarism and the maintenance of capitalism. The generations-dimensions of human rights and public policies for the human rights of the black population developed in Brazil (2003-2021) are discussed. The relationship between the social division of labor in capitalism and the racial and gender hierarchies present in the Brazilian labor market is studied. The mobilizations of South African women in defense of their rights and against Apartheid are analyzed. Taken together, this article highlights the importance of intersectional analyzes to combat violations of the human rights of black women.
