Abstract

Tramando Teatro is a theatre company from São Luís, Maranhão, dedicated to research, creation, and the production of scenic knowledge. It shares the results of its work through performances, exhibitions, publications, courses, and conferences. The company develops productions for both adult and children’s audiences, as well as scenic and literary projects. Its initiatives include a staging of the love story between Gonçalves Dias and Ana Amélia and the Passeio Serenata project, focused on the literary and historical memory of São Luís. Its repertoire includes the children’s plays João e Maria and A barca de ouro by Hermilo Borba Filho.
