RESUMO: O fotojornalismo como atividade singular que faz uso da fotografia como um veículo de observação, informação, análise e de opinião sob re a sociedade. Discute as fotografias jornalísticas como sendo aquelas que possuem ‘valor jornalístico’ e que são usadas para transmitir informação útil em conjunto com o texto que lhes está associado. A imagem fotojornalística, para ter sucesso, geralmente precisa juntar a força noticiosa à força visual.
