PETROLÃO: a imagem de Dilma e Lula na revista Veja - edição 2397 - de 29 de outubro de 2014

Abstract

RESUMO: A reportagem de capa da revista Veja, edição 2397, de 29 de outubro de 2014, é o foco desta pesquisa que busca compreender o seu discurso. Às vésperas das eleições para segundo turno, a revista Veja antecipa a sua edição apresentando uma denúncia sobre o caso Petrolão envolvendo Dilma e Lula. As revistas, através dos recursos gráficos e do uso de imagens, têm liberdade para apresentar conteúdos mais coloridos e chamativos. Esta é uma estratégia para atrair mais leitores. O objetivo deste estudo é verificar como a reportagem de capa trabalha com a imagem de Dilma e Lula. Observando também, os princípios éticos envolvidos nesta edição.

ABSTRACT: The cover of Veja Magazine, edition number 2397, from October 29, 2014, is the focus of this research that intends to comprehend its speech. On the eve of the second turn of the elections, Veja Magazine anticipates its edition presenting an accusation about the Petrolão case, involving Dilma and Lula. The magazines, by using graphic resources and the use of images, have the liberty to present more colorful and attention-getting content. This is a strategy to attract more readers. The objective of this study is to verify how the cover story works on the image of Dilma and Lula. We also observed the ethical principles involved in this edition.
