SOCIEDADE CIVIL E MIDIATIZAÇÃO DAS PRÁTICAS POLÍTICAS: um estudo do aplicativo MUDAMOS

Abstract

Deslocando o conceito gramsciano de “sociedade civil” para o ecossistema existencial contemporâneo que Muniz Sodré (2002, 2014) define como “midiatização generalizada” ou “bios virtual” encontramos evidências de que, por um lado, estaríamos vivendo em uma era de “pós-sociedade civil” (ou em uma espécie de “sociedade incivil”). Por outro, ainda é possível conceber mecanismos para a atuação de organizações da sociedade civil na disputa por direitos sociais. Neste contexto, mapeamos como o aplicativo MUDAMOS tem, através das tecnologias da informação e da comunicação, mediado o processo de construção de projetos de lei de iniciativa popular entre cidadãos e o Estado.

Abstract

Shifting the gramscian concept of "civil society" to the contemporary existential ecosystem that Muniz Sodré (2002, 2014) defines as "generalized midiatization" or "virtual bios" we find evidences that, on the one hand, we would be living in an era of "post-civil society” (or in a sort of "uncivil society"). On the other hand, it is still possible to devise mechanisms for the acting of civil society’s organizations in the dispute over social rights. In this context, we mapped how the MUDAMOS application has, through information and communication technologies, mediated the process of constructing popular initiative bills between citizens and the State.
