O GÊNERO HORROR E O ARQUI-GÊNERO: Subgêneros e transtextualidade em A casa muda, Audition e a Centopéia humana

Abstract

RESUMO Este artigo propõe a idéia do gênero horror como uma espécie de arqui-gênero, gênero que não existe numa forma mais bem definida como o western ou o noir, mas como uma base genérica que permeia as obras lançadas sob sua alçada. Essas obras, por sua vez, podem ser categorizadas a partir de critérios mais objetivos em diversos subgêneros, organizados a partir de elementos temáticos e estéticos em comum e fortemente afetados pelas relações que se estabelecem com outros subgêneros e pelo contexto social e cultural no qual o filme está inserido.

ABSTRACT This article proposes the idea of the horror genre as a kind of arch-genre, a genre that does not exist in a well defined shape as western and noir genres, but as a generic basis that permeates the work undertaken under their purview. These works, in turn, can be categorized based on criteria more objective in several subgenres, organized from aesthetic and thematic elements in common and strongly affected by the relationships established with other subgenres and the social and cultural context in which the film is inserted.
