O MEDO DAS MASSAS: Representações científicas e literárias sobre a multidão e a violência

Abstract

Analisar os conceitos de indivíduo e multidão cunhados por autores do séc. XIX e início do séc. XX, apontando, especificamente, para a idéia da multidão, quando envolvida em atos de violência, como fenômeno capaz de diluir os indivíduos dela participantes.

ABSTRACT

To analyze the concepts of individual and multitude produced by authors of XIX century and beginning of XX century, pointing, specifically, with respect to the idea of the multitude, when involved in violence acts, while phenomenon capable to dilute the participant individuals of it.
