Rhizome-Becoming in the Sala Verde Amanajé, in the city of Capitão Poço/PA

The article examines Sala Verde Amanajé as a pedagogical-ecosophical ecosystem in constant becoming, grounded in rhizomatic thought. Initially located at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon, the experience functioned as a space of convergence between academic and traditional knowledge, promoting environmental education practices based on transversality and non-hierarchical articulation of knowledge. Due to structural and logistical constraints, the project underwent a process of de(re)territorialization, becoming itinerant and expanding its activities to schools and communities. This transformation enabled the consolidation of a dynamic, flexible, and transdisciplinary network capable of responding to contemporary socio-environmental demands. Sala Verde Amanajé thus demonstrates an educational practice that challenges the fragmentation of knowledge, fostering integration between university and community while reinforcing an ecosophical perspective oriented toward new relationships between society, education, and the environment.
