Linguagem da paixão: intelectuais e políticas culturais no Brasil

Resumo

O estudo sobre políticas culturais tem conhecido progressivo crescimento no Brasil nas últimas décadas. Nesse artigo, será tomado como foco de análise um grupo de intelectuais, denominado aqui de Rede Cult, cuja produção tem se tornado referência para as pesquisas desenvolvidas na área mais recentemente. Tomando como premissa o papel dos intelectuais como mediadores simbólicos, cujas interpretações constroem visões de mundo, este artigo intenciona analisar a dinâmica da rede a partir da sua produção, centrando o foco no estilo argumentativo e interpretativo desses intelectuais, de modo a depreender crenças, valores e os jogos políticos que orientam suas ações e estruturam suas posições sociais.

The language of the passion: intellectuals and cultural policies in Brazil

Abstract

The Brazilian studies on cultural policies have faced an exponential growth in the last decades. The researches of Rede Cult, a group of intellectuals which production have been reference for the studies developed in that area, will be the main focus of this article’s analysis. Taking as a premise the role of these intellectuals as symbolic mediators, which interpretations have been building worldviews, this article intends to analyze the dynamics of Rede Cult from its production, focusing in the argumentative and interpretive styles of these intellectuals in order to comprehend theirs believes, values and political relations that guide its own actions and social positions.
