A DEFESA DO PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL HISTÓRICO EM SANTO ÂNGELO-RS ATRAVÉS DA ORGANIZAÇÃO DA COMUNIDADE LOCAL NA INTERNET

Resumo

Nesse artigo observa-se a mobilização de um grupo comunitário de Santo Ângelo, cidade gaúcha de passado missioneiro, que através da internet reúne-se para discutir a defesa do seu Centro Histórico perante a especulação imobiliária, e busca diálogo com instâncias governamentais municipais e estaduais para efetivar a proteção desse patrimônio cultural. Esse grupo é formado presencialmente, e tem suas discussões levadas ao ambiente digital em grupo criado na rede social Facebook. A partir de levantamento e análise de dados sobre o grupo digital, procura-se demonstrar o cenário de utilização da internet como canal de participação social nos processos de preservação patrimonial.

THE DEFENSE OF HISTORICAL CULTURAL HERITAGE
IN SANTO ÂNGELO - RS THROUGH OF THE LOCAL
COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION ON THE INTERNET

Abstract

In this article it is observed the mobilization of a community group of St. Angelo - RS, city with missionary past, which, through the Internet, meets to discuss the defense of its Historical Center in the face of real estate speculation, and seeks dialogue with municipal and state governmental institutions to ensure the protection of this cultural
heritage. This group is formed in person, and has its discussions taken to the digital environment in a group created on the social network Facebook. We studied the digital group, based on data gathering and analysis, and we seek to demonstrate the scenario of Internet use as a
mean of social participation in heritage preservation.
