PROCESSOS FONOLÓGICOS SEGMENTAIS NA LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA

Résumé

O objetivo principal do artigo é sistematizar os processos fonológicos segmentais da língua portuguesa, muitas vezes dispersos e confusos nas discussões linguísticas. Para isso, o artigo faz uma revisão da Fonética e da Fonologia, com suas particularidades, inclusive em relação à forma de transcrição em cada dessas ciências. Em seguida, aborda os aspectos segmentais (consoante, vogal e glides) da língua para melhor entendimento e diferenciação de abordagem dos sons. Finalmente, apresentam-se quatro tipos de processos fonológicos segmentais: processos de apagamento, de adição, de transposição e de substituição, com suas respectivas subdivisões.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to systematize the segmental phonological processes of Brazilian Portuguese, which are frequently confusing in linguistic discussions. To achieve this aim, the article presents a review of phonetics and phonology, with their peculiarities, as well as regarding the form of transcription in each of these sciences. Next, the article presents a discussion of the segmental aspects (consonant, vowel and glides) of language for better understanding and differentiation of approach to sounds. Finally, four types of segmental phonological processes are presented: processes of deletion, addition, substitution and transposition, with their respective subdivisions.
