This article deals with the relationship between Brazil and Caribe in the afterredemocratization period, with emphasis in the economics aspects, analysating the globalization process and your consequences to Brazil’s external politic. It also delas with the larges comercial blocks’ formation like MERCOSUL and NAFTA and its influences in the America’s politics and comercials relationships.
